Spring
naturally stirs within us the anticipation of new
adventures, new possibilities. I am delighted to share
with you several new opportunities that will help us
consciously move forward in awareness and oneness.
April 7th the Catawba Humane Society of Newton, NC,
will sponsor
“Unleash the Pet 411”. The public and their pets
are invited to this educational and entertaining event
from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Newton-Conover Civic and
Performance Center.
The day will begin with entertainment from actor James
Best who played Roscoe P. Coltrane on Dukes of Hazard.
James will talk about his experiences with animals in
Hollywood. Dog trainer Butch Williams of Bark Busters
will then share insights about training animals.
After lunch I will share six easy steps to enable you to
communicate with animals. Throughout the day people will
register for a drawing for a demonstration of my talking
with their pet. My connecting with an animal from the
audience will be the final event of the day.
A silent auction will be held throughout the day. Many
interesting animal-related items will be available.
“Unleash the Pet 411” will be held in conjunction
with the Artists Unleashed art exhibit at the
same location. I hope you will join us for this
informative, entertaining event that will raise money
for the Catawba Humane Society.
May 5th Art of Well Being magazine and Blessings Project
Foundation are sponsoring “A Day for the Healing
Arts” in Winston-Salem, NC. This day-long event is
from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Blessings, 823 Reynolda Road,
Winston-Salem.
Art of Well Being’s owner Sybil Harmon and I have worked
together several times previously. Art of Well Being
events are first-class sharing experiences. This event
will be my first time to work with Blessings Project
Foundation. I am delighted to work with both these
organizations to bring greater awareness of how animals
and humans help each other heal.
Another first for me this year is my being a presenter
at the International Expressive Arts Therapy Association
Conference May 23-26 at Appalachian State University in
Boone, NC. The conference theme is Expressive Arts and
the Earth: Ancient Mountains, Whispering Waters, Sacred
Stones. On Thursday, May 24th I will teach “Earth,
Fire, Water, Air, You! Healing with Elements and Art”.
As you can imagine, I am very excited about sharing my
insights with other professional therapists.
June 17-23 will find me once again sharing at
Southeastern Spiritual Conference in Greensboro, NC. My
week-long workshop will be “Dance of the Dragonfly”.
Together we will partner with the essence of the
dragonfly that moves us beyond the illusion of our
limitations. We will joyfully transform something in our
personal or professional lives. Whether you are
embarking on a new adventure or wanting new energy in a
current situation or relationship, this workshop will
help you transform and recreate your life.
Southeastern Spiritual Conference is an educational
organization that creates gatherings for the exchange of
ideas and wisdom. The conference is committed to an
exploration of different psychological, spiritual, and
philosophical beliefs that promote personal growth,
environmental awareness, and the development of skills
that lead to harmonious relationships.
In addition to the above events, I will travel to Ohio,
Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and various cities in North
Carolina to teach workshops.
As you can see, this year offers you the opportunity to
work with me in several different ways. I hope you will
join me in my journey of self discovery, healing, and
oneness with all species.
May this year bring you an abundance of blessings and
joyful adventures.
